Governance Links Tanzania is a Tanzania-based independent and non-profit organization that works to contribute strengthening capacity in promoting collective and participatory governance. Governance Links Tanzania contributes to reduce poverty and inequality through rigorous research targeted capacity building and active engagement with the policy community to make the world a more inclusive, prosperous, just, and safe place for all.
By pairing research with action, Governance Links Tanzania goes beyond contributing to knowledge about development. We conceive of and advocate for practical policy innovations in areas directly linked to Natural Resources, Trade and Health, to foster shared prosperity in an increasingly interdependent world.
As an independent, nonpartisan, and nonprofit entity, we leverage modest resources to combine scholarly research with policy analysis and innovative outreach and communications to turn ideas into action. We have committed ourselves to recruiting creative and passionate researchers and policy analysts who are eager to face realities and use evidence in guiding which problems and how to tackle them.
